Privacy policy
The short version: Mochi Mahjong does not collect, store or share any personal data. The game works completely offline, has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress is saved only on your own device.

What the game keeps on your device
To remember where you are, the game saves your progress on your device: levels cleared, stars and dried fish, your cat's name, its outfits and rooms, and your settings (sound, language, text size and so on). This information never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it.
If you back up your device with iCloud or your computer, that backup may include the game's save, as it does for other apps. Backups are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.
What we do not do
- The game does not connect to the internet and does not send anything to us or anyone else.
- There is no account, sign-in or registration.
- There are no ads, no advertising identifiers, no analytics, no crash-reporting tools and no third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect data.
- We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share personal data.
- The game does not ask for access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location.
Sharing with a friend
If you tap “Share with a friend”, your device's own share sheet opens with a short message and a link to our website. You choose whether to share, which app to use and who receives it. We do not receive the message, and we do not learn who you shared it with. In return the game gives you a few extra hints, shuffles and undos, once a day.
Information from Apple
Apple may give us aggregated statistics about the App Store listing and the app, such as the number of downloads, and crash reports from people who chose to share them with app developers in their device settings. This information does not identify you. It is collected by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
This website
This website has no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you and to fix problems you report, keep it only as long as needed for that, and delete it on request.
Children
Mochi Mahjong is suitable for all ages. Because the game collects no personal information, it collects none from children either.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or Singapore's PDPA) you have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. The game holds none. For emails you sent us, write to support@mochimahjong.com and we will help.
Changes to this policy
If a future version adds anything that changes how data is handled (for example ads or purchases), we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details before that version is released, and change the date at the top of this page.
