Meet Mochi
“Every match gets a cheer from me. Every pause, I nap. That's the deal.”— Mochi
Mochi is a round, cream-coloured cat with honey-tipped ears and one honey paw. When it curls up to sleep it looks exactly like a mochi rice cake – hence the name.
Mochi reacts to you
It leans in when you pick a tile, cheers your combos from “Purr…” all the way to “Whisker-tastic!”, looks worried when the tray fills up and comforts you when a board goes wrong.
Mochi has feelings
Feed it and it is happy. Leave it alone for a long time and it misses you – one snack and a few pets make it all better. It never gets angry at you for losing.
Mochi grows up
Every snack and every pet brings you closer. With closeness Mochi grows from kitten to young cat to grown cat, and it can get a little chubby if you are generous with dried fish.
Mochi dresses up
Scarves, bells, hats, glasses, a strawberry beret, a matcha scarf and more. Some are earned by finishing rooms, some by points, some bought with dried fish.
Mochi's five rooms
A morning living room, an afternoon balcony, a dusk windowsill, a rainy study and a night-light bedroom. Spend stars to decorate each one.
Music that grows with you
Every 100 levels a new calm song unlocks. Pick your favourite as the background music.
Mochi is called 汤圆 (tangyuan) in Chinese. You can give your cat any name you like.
